What is Hygge?
Posted Tue, March 07, 2017 in All Posts
According to the Hygge House, Hygge (pronounced hue-guh) is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment; whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary― as cozy, charming or special.
What’s to love about it?
Incorporating hygge into your life is quite simple. Living in the Pacific Northwest, we have long, chilly winters. Hygge is all about finding coziness even on the dreariest of days. We love and embrace hygge at Ponzi Vineyards. In our tasting room, you will find indoor and outdoor fireside seating, throw blankets, comfortable chairs and fresh floral to enjoy beautiful Oregon wine country even on the gloomiest of days.
Steps to Hygge at Home
Slip on your coziest slippers & grab your favorite throw.
Light some clean-scented candles. Our favorites.
Craft a charcuterie plate. We love Olympia Provisions.
Invite over a few of your favorite people.
Don’t forget the Ponzi!
Relax, enjoy and be happy.
