As a member of the second generation trio that now owns and operates Ponzi Vineyards, Maria has spent most of her life working for the family company. After college, however, she made a quick escape to Boston for three years, then set off to travel the world. Travelling has always been a passion of Maria’s and is, to this day, one of her favorite things to do with her family.
Even within Oregon, Maria finds joy in “mini-vacations” with her husband and two children. Whether in Bend or at the beach, they spend every minute of daylight biking, sailing, skiing and of course, relaxing. If Maria had to choose one Oregon destination in which to spend her time off, it would be snuggled up in front of the fireplace on a stormy day at the Oregon Coast with her husband, sipping on an aged Ponzi Pinot Noir Reserve— any vintage will suit just fine.
