Ponzi Vineyards - Ponzi Vineyards, located just 45 minutes from downtown Portland, accommodates large or small parties in one of the various indoor or outdoor spaces. The modern tasting room and grounds sit atop a majestic Chehalem Mountains slope with dramatic views of the vineyard and valley. The tasting room and covered terrace are ideal for intimate dinners and receptions, with a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows. Envision al fresco luncheons or lively outdoor receptions on the expansive plaza set above Avellana Vineyard.

Ponzi Historic Estate - Situated on the Ponzi family’s 40-year-old Estate Vineyard, this special setting, only 30 minutes from Portland, is versatile in accommodating large scale gatherings, as well as intimate wine dinners. Once the Ponzi family home, the intimate venue offers a sophisticated, comfortable and bright interior, with hardwood floors, vaulted ceilings and a fireplace. The spacious lawn is a delightful atmosphere for outdoor events.

At Ponzi Vineyards there is private event space next to the tasting room. Other options include hosting dinners out in the vineyard, in combination with a vineyard tour. "The most popular event is social wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres," Focareto says. "Some other things we do are a little different. The bocce ball court a lot of times is a good team-building competitive exercise. In the spring, we can arrange a wine-tasting seminar and blending seminar led by a winemaker with an opportunity to make their own blend. It’s fun for people, especially if they are into wine and get taken through that process." Read more.
